Commemorative coins

<templatestyles src="Module:Hatnote/styles.css"></templatestyles>

The Republic, just like other member States of Europe issue commemorative coins, of which this is the most notorious €2 denomination. Nevertheless, the Republic has also issued this type of coin in other denominations, such as that dedicated to three-time Formula One World Champion Ayrton Senna in 2014, being 20 years from Senna's fatal crash at the San Marino Grand Prix. This coin was also complemented by a commemorative €2.50 stamp.[2]
