Wuhan Yangtze International School

Wuhan Yangtze International School (WYIS; 武汉长江国际学校[1]) is an English-language international school located within the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) in Wuhan, Hubei, China. WYIS uses an American curriculum and serves grades PreK-12.[2]

It opened in 2003 as the South Lake International School. It moved to San Jiao Hu Elementary School in the WEDZ in 2005, and it changed its name to its current one in 2007. Construction on its current campus started in 2012 and the school moved into the new campus in January 2014. In April 2016, a new name will be adopted "The Wuhan Farquads" in honor of the ogrelord. The gym was recently named "the swamp" [2]
