The Inbetweeners is a BAFTA Award-winning British sitcom created by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris,[1] and broadcast on E4. The series follows the lives of four sixth form students – Will McKenzie (Simon Bird), Simon Cooper (Joe Thomas), Jay Cartwright (James Buckley) and Neil Sutherland (Blake Harrison). The series is narrated by Will, who acts as the programme's lead character.

The first series introduces the characters, following public school-educated Will and his attempts to acclimatise to a comprehensive school. Despite his status as a "briefcase mong" with "clumpy shoes", he befriends Simon, Jay, and Neil. Will's credibility increases in the first series, as he embarks on a short-lived relationship with Charlotte (Emily Atack). Simon's quest to seduce his childhood sweetheart, Carli (Emily Head), is never completed – often due to Jay's intervention. Neil, however – despite being somewhat less intelligent than the other lads – spends a night with a goth in Simon's car.

The first series consisted of six episodes, starting with the first episode "First Day", which was shown on E4 on 1 May 2008, and ran until 29 May 2008. The second series began on 2 April 2009 with "The Field Trip" and ran for six episodes, also on E4.[2] The third and most recent series began on 13 September 2010 with "The Fashion Show" and ended on 18 October 2010 with "The Camping Trip".

1 1 "First Day"[3] Gordon Anderson Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 1 May 2008 (2008-05-01) [4]
The series starts with Will (the main character) on his first day at a new school. Previously Will attended a public school but because of money problems, has been relocated to a state school. The experiences of his first day include being bullied by fellow students and insulting his head of sixth form, Mr Gilbert. Later on in the episode he meets the three other main characters: Simon, Jay and Neil. After hearing about a student gathering organised for later that evening at a local pub, Will decides to join them. Trying to impress his new-found friends, the underage Will attempts to illegally purchase alcohol, but fails to convince the bartender that he is old enough for the purchase. When he vents his frustration and reveals the underage status of all the students, they are all thrown out, for which Will's new classmates take a big dislike to him. This also starts the feud between him and Mark Donovan.
2 2 "Bunk Off"[5] Gordon Anderson Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 1 May 2008 (2008-05-01) [6]
This episode follows the boys' day as they bunk off school. The episode starts with Will and Simon meeting up and faking to Mr Gilbert they are both ill with food poisoning. After this they meet up with Jay and Neil, and Will buys them all alcohol. After this they head back to Neil's house and all get drunk. To their surprise, Neil's dad walks in but Will, who is drunk, mock Neil's dad over his alleged bentness, ultimately resulting in Will calling him a bumder, a portmanteau of bummer and bender. Neil's dad gets angry at this so the boys make a quick escape, leaving Neil behind to take his punishment. Simon then, albeit drunkenly, realises he loves Carli D'Amato and is desperate to tell her. They go round to Carli's house and he sprays "I love Carly D'Amato" (sic) on her driveway in spray paint, only to be embarrassed when Carli and her friends turn up. However, Carli is somewhat impressed (after noticing Jay sniggering at Simon) and invites Simon over to her house. Simon, wondering how he got away with the spray painting, is told by Jay that Carli was obviously impressed that he was drunk and suggests Simon be drunk when he goes to Carli's house that evening. Simon takes Jay's advice and turns up drunk and with Will, only to end up throwing up in Carli's kitchen and on her little brother, Chris, after Will inadvertently convinces Chris that his parents are dead. Simon and Will leave, only to go home and discover their parents (including Neil's dad) at Will's house, demanding an explanation for why they bunked off, the day having ended being a total disaster. The episode ends the next day at school with Simon and Will being taken to the headteacher's office as calling up and claiming to be their parents is fraud and Neil and Jay get away scot free.
3 3 "Thorpe Park"[7] Gordon Anderson Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 8 May 2008 (2008-05-08) [8]
Simon is about to take his driving test, but doesn't feel confident that he will pass, whereas Will, Jay and Neil are over-optimistically discussing the possibilities of one of their group owning a fully-fledged licence. Before Simon even takes his test they have already decided to go to Thorpe Park – where Neil works. During Simon's test he is examined by a female examiner who tries to put him at ease with the use of sexual connotations; Simon is submissive to her advances and ends up passing his test. His dad then buys him a small yellow Fiat Cinquecento Hawaii, much to his dislike and embarrassment exacerbated by taunts from friends. Simon then goes to collect Will and Jay to take them to Thorpe Park. After the journey – which includes "stalking" a car full of girls and interfering in a funeral procession – the boys finally arrive at Thorpe Park; although things do not go to plan there either. Jay detaches the passenger side door when he impatiently opens the door whilst Simon is still driving, and Will finally gets to the front of the queue for Nemesis Inferno, only to find there is only space for him and not his friends at the front. He insults whoever has pushed in, denouncing them as "arseholes", before sitting down next to them to see they are from the "Happy Foundation", a charity for people with Down syndrome. After the ride they return to the car which is covered with food and has had the windows and doors smashed by the Happy Foundation.
4 4 "Will Gets a Girlfriend"[9] Gordon Anderson Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 15 May 2008 (2008-05-15) [10]
The boys end up at a plain Friday night party and, amazingly, Will ends up pulling Charlotte "Big Jugs" Hinchcliffe. They get into some heavy petting, but the experience is short-lived as Charlotte's burly ex-boyfriend Mark Donovan comes in. The next day Will brags to Charlotte about how many girls he has had sex with, and she suggests they meet up again for more than just a kiss. Will goes to the rest of the boys and tells them about this, but Simon tells Will that Charlotte is obviously just using him to get back at Mark – leading to Will storming off. Friday comes and Will and Charlotte engage in "intercourse", with the latter being let down by the experience. After Neil wins an unwanted date with Susie at the school's charity Blind Date, Will is then dumped in front of the school when Charlotte takes part in it in an effort to find a boy "who knows what he's doing". In a sub-plot, Jay gets teased by the rest of the boys for having a friend outside of the group and even a special goodbye of two thumbs up, leading up to him finding this friend's car and jumping up on the bonnet, screaming that he's not his friend, whilst Neil and Simon look on in shock.
5 5 "Caravan Club"[11] Gordon Anderson Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 22 May 2008 (2008-05-22) [12]
Jay invites the rest of the gang to come to a branch of Caravan Club with his family. Will, Simon and Neil arrive and their experience does not get off to a good start – as the boys are eating dinner in the Cartwrights’ caravan, Jay’s dad goes to the toilet in a loud and unhygienic manner. Later, the boys head off to the main building in the complex for a party. Will is offered sex by a punk girl; but loses his chance when he decides to take his shoes off and slide across the hall floor instead. After some flirty text exchanges, Simon tries his luck with a girl who Jay has claimed to have sex with; but when he leads her outside and takes his pants off, she is shocked and reveals she doesn’t want sex, before running inside to tell her parents. Meanwhile, Will’s shoes have been stolen by a group of eight-year-olds, and he takes to getting one of them into a headlock to get them back. The boys then head off – albeit without Neil, who cannot be found – before Simon can get in trouble for his earlier stunt with the girl. The following morning, the boys find Neil and he explains that he slept in Simon's car, which explains where he had disappeared to. However, it is only on the Dual-carriageway on the way home that Neil reveals that he spent the night with the punk girl, who earlier rejected Will, and had been performing foreplay on each other in Simon’s car – which should explain why the seats are so wet.
6 6 "Xmas Party"[13] Gordon Anderson Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 29 May 2008 (2008-05-29) [14]
It’s the end of Will’s first term and he has been elected as chairman for the Christmas party committee – mostly due to the fact he was the only one to apply. He also manages to rope Simon, Jay and Neil into helping him. At the party, Simon attempts to woo Carli, but when he goes to declare his love of her – with all eyes at the party on him – he fails to get the words out. Luckily, everyone is distracted from Simon making a fool of himself when a drunk Neil attempts to kiss the Biology teacher Miss Timms. Donovan then appears and threatens Will after seeing him talking to – and kissing – Charlotte, but everyone at the party tell Donovan to leave Will alone, saying he has organised a good party. Donovan sees Charlotte giving him a dirty look and goes after her, and Will attempts to say a thank you speech – only to be ignored as the party continues. The party ends and the boys reflect on the past term on a trampoline in the gym. Jay then appears and tells the boys he has just received a blowjob in the DJ booth. He then caves in and admits it was only a handjob "outside of the trousers" and after a bit of gentle teasing, he dives on the rest of the boys and the gang end the term play fighting on the trampoline.

7 1 "The Field Trip"[15] Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 2 April 2009 (2009-04-02) [16]
It's a new term and the boys have signed up for the annual Geography and Sociology field trip to Swanage. Although Neil doesn't take either of the subjects, he is allowed to come along by agreeing to help Mr. Kennedy, an alleged paedophile. When the boys are moved from the back seat of the coach by Mark, the school bully, Will gets a stroke of luck when he gets to sit next to new girl Lauren. The two get on well and Will falls for her, but Lauren unfortunately has her eyes set on Simon, and Will's constant Yoda impressions that Lauren doesn't understand aren't helping either. The boys arrive in Swanage, and as Will and Simon both attempt to woo Lauren, Neil and Jay set off to find the legendary "Swanage MILF" who allegedly has sex with a pupil every year. Simon realises that he still loves childhood friend Carli and Will takes the opportunity to invite Lauren on a boat trip. The trip is crashed when the boys return, Neil and Jay MILF-free. After a number of unfortunate incidents on the boat, such as Simon falling into the harbour and beginning to develop hypothermia and the boys being "attacked" by a fish, Jay sets off an emergency flare and the boys are saved, albeit at the expense of looking like idiots to the rest of the field trip party.
8 2 "Work Experience"[17] Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 9 April 2009 (2009-04-09) [18]
It's Valentine's Day and after comparing cards, Will catches up with Charlotte, who he sent a card and a bouquet of flowers, and she invites him along to an underage disco in which she will be bartending. Before that though, the boys have to endure work experience. Jay has set himself and Simon up at his dad's plant hire, but that turns out to be nowhere near as fun as Jay promised. Will's request to be placed at a local newspaper is mixed up and he is instead sent to a car garage, with Neil going to the newspaper. Neil does fine at his placement, but Will struggles to fit in with a group of people working at a place he hopes he will never work. In order to impress his workmates, Will tells them of his date with his "horny girlfriend" later that night. Simon, Jay and Neil also decide to come when Will unwittingly tells them of his date. Friday comes and the boys head to the disco. While receiving a handjob from a Valentine's card-sending admirer, Simon is attacked by a young boy in retribution for barging into him earlier in the episode (although it was actually Jay who insulted the boy). The boy gets pulled away, but Simon, Jay and Neil head off to hide in the toilets when the boy appears with his friends from the feared Northwood gang. Will goes to Charlotte for some help, but she refuses to help when a man from the garage turns up, who, despite appearing much older, is in fact 17, and relays all of the things Will had said he and Charlotte had done. Will then decides to ring his mum and the boys leave, saved from the Northwood gang but being considered "saddos" even more than ever.
9 3 "Will's Birthday"[19] Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 16 April 2009 (2009-04-16) [20]
Jay steals a flyer for a "sexy" party being held by Louise Graham from their school and the boys decide to go. However, the party clashes with Will's sophisticated birthday dinner and he eventually persuades his friends that his event is more important. The boys all attempt to get a date for Will's dinner, but everyone seems to be going to Louise's party, including Will's love interest, Charlotte. Simon is having to look after a French exchange student named Patrice (played by Vladimir Consigny) and brings him to Will's house. Will's birthday comes and his present from his mum is an unflattering black vest that she thinks makes him look cool. This rather disappoints Will, as he had been hoping for a car. His mother guilt trips him into wearing the vest that evening anyway. The day does not get much better as at his dinner there is not a female in sight. After being branded “paedophiles” by a group of drunken young girls and finding an angry stripper on the doorstep, Will agrees that maybe going to Louise's party is better than this. The boys (except Patrice) are denied entry to the party and all but Will decide to climb the fence, with Will opting to crawl underneath it (passing through dog faeces in the process). Having to take his jacket off, he reveals his birthday present and is ridiculed by the party guests for it. Will then receives a shock when he finds Patrice and Charlotte in bed together. The boys receive a brief respite from their bad day when Donovan turns up looking for Charlotte, and the prospect of Patrice getting beaten up by the psychotic school bully is a happy one. Unfortunately their happiness is short-lived as, when they leave the party, they are again spotted by the group of drunken young girls who send their older brother running after them with a cricket bat.
10 4 "A Night Out in London"[21] Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 23 April 2009 (2009-04-23) [22]
Will decides the boys need to lose their "saddo" tag and that they should go clubbing in London to kickstart this "new life". Jay and Neil both warm to the idea, but Simon is reluctant to do so, stating that they would get robbed, stabbed and killed if they drive down to London. He is later persuaded to go after Neil says he has a car and will happily drive the foursome down to the capital, as well as Carli telling him that she and her friend Rachel will also be going down to London on the same night. As the boys prepare for the night out, Simon is informed that he will have to drive seeing as Neil's car has no engine yet. Still excited by the prospect of going to the same club as Carli, he agrees to drive. When the boys arrive in London, however, things begin to get a little pear-shaped. Simon is attacked by some men from a nearby bus stop after Jay decides to lean out of the window and call them "bus wankers" as they drive past. Simon has to swap his trainers for piss-soaked tramp shoes in order to get in. As Neil and Jay walk off to find some girls, Will and Simon prepare for their "dates" with Rachel and Carli, respectively. Both dates don’t go very well, with Rachel smitten by another man, Dean (played by Bird and Thomas' close friend Jonny Sweet) and Carli feeling put off Simon after smelling the tramp shoes. After Neil is thrown out for "masturbating" in the toilets (he was actually inspecting the cut on his penis he received earlier whilst urinating into a beer can in Simon's car), the boys decide to call it a night. A deliveryman, however, has other ideas.
11 5 "The Duke of Edinburgh Awards"[23] Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 30 April 2009 (2009-04-30) [24]
Will is picked to run the school's Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, having been told by Gilbert the reason he was chosen is that he is a virgin, and although Jay is reluctant to help, Neil and Simon agree to participate. Will signs himself, Simon and Neil up at a local retirement home in order to fulfil one of their “D of E” modules. The boys go to the home for the first time, and Daisy tells him how she wants the following day and night off so that she can attend a friend's hen party. Once again Will volunteers himself and his friends for the shifts (after also persuading Daisy to go on a date with him), but Simon then reveals that he has to spend time with his dad (who has recently become estranged from Simon's mum) and cannot complete the shifts. Jay agrees to help, but only if he receives money for it. The next day Will finds himself exhausted and falls asleep in the common room at school. After Jay and Neil play a prank on Will, his pubic hair falls out. Will panics before his date and quickly stuffs a woman's wig down his pants at the retirement home. Will tries to keep Daisy from finding out about the wig after their date, but she finds out and tells Will to leave after thinking that he did not have any pubic hair in the first place and that she was too old for him. The next day, Will tries to explain to Daisy, but she is too embarrassed to talk to him. Meanwhile, Jay becomes bored watching over the old people and sneaks off to an apparent unoccupied room to masturbate. When he is discovered, the boys are kicked off the scheme.
12 6 "Exam Time"[25] Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 7 May 2009 (2009-05-07) [26]
In the final episode of the second series, the boys are facing exams. Will is overworking himself and relying on energy drinks to keep him going; Simon is ignoring his revision and helping Carli revise Geography; Jay is smitten by his new girlfriend Chloe and Neil is preparing for his exam in PE by playing Pro Evolution Soccer. During the first revision session Carli tells Simon that she and Tom have split up, which leads them to share numerous kisses at the next session and Carli accepts the invitation to join Simon and the rest of the gang at the nearby pub for a post-exam celebratory drink. Simon rushes to tell Will – only to be shunned by his friend, who is cracking under the pressure of the looming exams. Jay is advised by his dad to make sure he always knows where Chloe is, and he begins texting her on a regular basis. The final exams come and both Simon and Jay are too distracted with their love lives to do any work on the paper. With all of the energy drinks he has taken in, Will begins to develop stomach trouble, and he soils himself, to his horror in the last exam. The boys go to the pub without Will, and as they get the drinks in, Will turns up wearing some tracksuit bottoms from lost property and not caring about the exams and how he likely failed them; instead he begins drinking pints of lager. Both Simon and Jay get dumped by their respective girls, with Carli announcing she has got back together with Tom and Chloe saying Jay is too sensitive for her, and the boys drive off thinking up new nicknames for Will; now unarguably the biggest "saddo" in school.

13 1 "The Fashion Show" Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 13 September 2010 (2010-09-13) 2.25[27]
Carli organizes a fashion show, despite Will disagreeing with "vain" fashion shows, as just something for popular kids, but changes his mind when Charlotte Hinchcliffe arrives to model and asks him to model with her. He competes with the irritating wheelchair-using boy for Charlotte's attention and manages to model quite successfully, but is downhearted when Charlotte says she would never go out with him again after. Jay's pierced ears become infected and he has to leave the fashion show for hospital. Carli, impressed by Simon's modelling, asks him to replace her modelling partner Chris Yates who was revealed to have a "disgustingly" hairy back, wearing just Speedos. Simon, despite being worried that he will get an erection over Carli in the revealing Speedos, agrees when he sees Carli in her revealing outfit. He concentrates hard on not getting an erection, but because of this, he fails to notice his testicle hanging out of the side of his Speedos, and shows it to the whole school. Will and the disabled student briefly stop arguing to inform Simon of this, and Carli thinks Simon did it on purpose to make fun of her and storms off. Meanwhile, Mr Kennedy attempts to get Neil to undress but is dragged off by Mr Gilbert. At the end of the episode, Simon and Will discuss the Speedo incident. Neil and Jay join them and Jay claims that he had sex with the school nurse, even though Simon says she is another student's Nan. Neil reveals he kissed Charlotte to a surprised and heartbroken Will, although mimes what he really did with her to Jay and Simon behind Will's back, and the gang head home instead of going to Mark Donovan's party.
14 2 "The Gig and the Girlfriend" Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 20 September 2010 (2010-09-20) 2.13[28]
In an attempt to woo an attractive girl from the year below (Tara), Simon agrees to go with her to see the band Failsafe at a pub. He further tries to impress Tara by telling her he will bring cannabis to the concert. The group take drugs, and all react differently. Neil takes sleeping tablets, Will cannot control his body movements, Jay is dazed and confused, and Tara throws up on Simon. In another one of his lies, Jay claims he can get drugs anytime from his dealer. When Simon asks Jay for some cannabis, Jay tells him that his dealer has gone to Afghanistan to get harder drugs, despite having told Simon 15 minutes ago that he could easily get hold of some. In order to regain his friends' trust after his string of lies in the past, Jay goes to Donovan for some weed, but is given tea and accepts it out of fear. As a subplot, Will and Simon stop believing Jay's "bullshit claims" after his dad rumbles one of his stories about having sex in a caravan (which does not actually happen, "Jay gets it on with the cushion"). When the boys arrive at the gig, Jay decides to prove Simon and Will by trying to get drugs at the venue. After a short search, Neil spots a dealer and he and Jay head over to him. After a short argument with the dealer, he sells them the drugs and all except Will who refuses to smoke it, and Neil who took some of his dad's sleeping medicine, smoke them out the back. While inside, Jay starts teasing Will about not taking the drugs until Will eats whats left of them. Simon accidentally injures Tara during a moshpit, and, not helped by a mixture of her being "stoned and concussed" leads to her feeling faint, queasy and throwing up over herself and Simon just as she is about to kiss him. After she is sick on herself, Simon, their shoes and the floor, the two kiss and intimately touch each other (she touches his legs and penis and he touches her breasts), but Tara still feels sick and has to stop kissing and groping Simon to throw up everywhere again. Eventually Will starts to feel the effects of the drug and becomes frightened and loses control of his hands. When he asks for an ambulance, Jay refuses out of fear of being arrested, Neil starts falling asleep and Simon is too busy eating Tara's face, and stopping her being sick, to care. With no other choice, Will gets up onstage and asks that they either call for an ambulance or his mum. He is then led off the stage by the bouncers as he looked "proper mental". When Will is being taken into the ambulance, Jay runs away in panic thinking the blue light is a police car while Simon kisses Tara, his first girlfriend. Featuring a special guest appearance by rock band Failsafe.
15 3 "Will's Dilemma" Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 27 September 2010 (2010-09-27) 2.28[29]
Simon takes his new girlfriend on a double date with Will and Kerry – Tara's friend. However, Will's morals are tested when he is not at all interested in Kerry because of her height, but he is keen to receive oral sex from her, and therefore contemplates whether to stay with her or end their 'relationship'. Elsewhere, Neil is having an 18th birthday party and is allowed to invite 10 friends (if he has that many). Later at Neil's party, Simon and Tara go to Neil's bedroom where Tara gives Simon a hand job. Meanwhile Will decides to tell Kerry he does not want to see her anymore after being teased by Jay and Neil. Kerry takes this badly and bursts into tears. She then lies and tells the other guests at the party that Will used her for sex and dumped her, whilst Will argues that he was right for denying oral sex from Kerry. Furthermore, Will is unaware that Kerry's dad died last month, which means the guests are on Kerry's side. He also compares Kerry to the Empire State Building, which gets him kicked out of Neil's house and banned. Will is grounded for three weeks, and as a subplot, Neil and Jay are given a months detention for saying "Waterside" to Mr Gilbert, after spotting him in 'Waterside' Shopping Centre looking fondly at cuddly toys.
16 4 "The Trip to Warwick" Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 4 October 2010 (2010-10-04) 2.17[30]
Simon is surprised when his new girlfriend Tara is ready to take their relationship to the next level and the couple plan a romantic trip to Warwick in the Midlands to visit Tara’s sister, Sophie, at university, and use her house as a means to have sex somewhere private. Romantic, that is, aside from the fact that the other boys invite themselves along – Will on the pretext that he wants to take a look around his absolute last choice of university (even though Warwick has an excellent reputation), Jay so he can give Simon his 'expert' sex advice and Neil because he has nothing better to do. This creates tension between Simon and Tara during the journey. Neil and Jay get drunk after playing drinking games with Sophie's flat mate's friends, causing Neil to later urinate on Will whilst they are sleeping and giving Jay the confidence to sneak off in to the house to try and sleep with Sophie's Dutch flatmate. Simon, on the other hand, after taking Jay's advice to have a 'tactical wank' before having sex, fails to get an erection over a naked Tara and starts getting angry with himself which scares Tara. All the incidents together get them kicked out of the house, leaving the boys to endure the long drive home in their underwear. Tara then dumps Simon by text on the car ride home.
17 5 "Home Alone" Ben Palmer Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 11 October 2010 (2010-10-11) 2.43[31]
Will's mum goes away for the weekend with a college friend she recently caught up with on Facebook. While Jay, Neil and Simon are walking down the street they spot a flower display reading "WELCOME TO OUR VILLAGE", Neil and Jay then alter it to say "WE CUM TIT VILLAGE". Mr Gilbert then assigns Will to find the culprits by threatening to ruin his UCAS application, so the only university that will accept him is the University of Lincoln. It doesn't take Will long to find out who had done it but decides not to grass them up. Will asks Simon if he would like to stay round his house due to "security reasons", Simon declines as he doesn't want to risk missing the father and son golf tournament. Will then asks Neil, this angers Jay as he wants some privacy from his dog so he can masturbate alone. However Jay eventually makes his way into Will's house, but then Will forces them to go out as they mess up his kitchen. Jay and Neil decide to take Will on a "pussy patrol" which is to ride Jay's mums car around the estate really slowly. Jay runs over a squirrel because he lost to it in a game of chicken. When the group arrive back at Wills's house they find that Simon is inside waiting for them. When asked how he came in, he replies saying the back door was open. Jay uses Will's mum's credit card to order two boxes of beer which angers Will. Will decides to return them but upon opening up his laptop he finds that Jay and Simon have changed his Facebook picture to a fat naked man and his status to "Will is fingering his cat", they also changed his password. Will finds out the password but has to let Jay stay over. Jay opens the box full of beer which means Will can't return them. Neil returns in the kitchen and says that he blocked the toilet. Jay gets the idea that he'll just tell his parents that his dog has done a poo in the house so then his dog will have to stay outside, this will allow him to masturbate in peace. After Will unblocks the toilet he returns to see Jay, Neil and Simon all drunk and whacking his daffodils with Simon's golf clubs which he has to use tomorrow. Will then tells the boys that they are going out, so they won't destroy Will's house. While they are out the boys start vandalising other people's gardens, they are then caught by one man and run away. Back at Will's home Jay and Neil go upstairs to masturbate while Simon and Will play a game of Pro Evo. The next day, Will and Simon are woken up by a loud banging. They find out that it was the angry man who caught them earlier. The man finds them because he saw Neil through the kitchen window. Will's mum's friend opens the door (she was told to check up on Will), Will kicks the door shut and breaks her nose. Will tries to reason with the man but ends up closing the curtains on him which angers the man more. Will finds out that his mum has returned and now knows that he is going to be in deep trouble. In the end, Simon misses his golf tournament, Jay finds out that his dog has been put down because once a dog starts defecating in the house it's already close to death, and Will's mum gets dumped by her new boyfriend because he doesn't want to deal with a "problem child".
18 6 "The Camping Trip" Damon Beesley & Iain Morris Damon Beesley & Iain Morris 18 October 2010 (2010-10-18) 2.62[33]
Simon's parents tell him that the whole family are moving to Swansea in a couple of weeks due to Simon's dad's company laying many employees off.[32] Simon is distraught, as he will have no mates and never see Carli again. At the same time, Neil worries that he has got a woman pregnant. Will decides to organise one last trip for the gang before they go their separate ways. The four heroes pack the Fiat for a camping trip in the countryside. In the woods by a lake, Will draws on all his scout training – the same however, cannot be said for Jay, Neil and Simon, who are not prepared for the great outdoors at all. After burning all of Will's stuff to make a fire, a quick texting game, and playing Monopoly in the dark, the team lock themselves out of the Fiat, which soon rolls into the lake. Neil receives a text saying the woman is not pregnant (the "positive" was on a Chlamydia test), while Simon gets a text from Carli (but will not reveal the contents, beyond saying "brilliant"). After everyone throws up in the tent, the group walk home.
