Umeed is an upcoming 2017 Indian Bollywood medical drama film, directed by Rajat Mukherjee, under the banners of S.O.I.E. and Welcome Friends Productions. The film is inspired by true events. Umeed is set to release on 22 September 2017.[1][2]

The film is based on drug abuse in which Daruwala portrays the role of a 'no-nonsense lawyer.'[3]
