Trillium ludovicianum, the Louisiana wakerobin[1] or Louisiana trillium, is a plant species found only in the south-central United States (Louisiana, Mississippi, and eastern Texas).[2][3][4][5]

Trillium ludovicianum is a perennial herb up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall. Flowers are dark red, purple, or dark green, sometimes with irregular markings. The plant grows in moist woods and floodplains.[6]
