State Highway Spur 6 (Spur 6) is a 1.506 mi (2.424 km) spur route in El Paso County, Texas.[1]

Route description

The western terminus of Spur 6 is at SH 20 (Doniphan Rd.) in Anthony. The route travels east and then north along Wildcat Dr. before ending at FM 1905 (Antonio St.).[1][2]

History

A previous route numbered Loop 6 was designated in 1939, as a loop off of US 370 (now US 287) through the town of Kirkland in Childress County. This route was removed from the state highway system in 1972.[1]

The current designation for Spur 6 was established in 1998, replacing FM 3500.[1][3][lower-alpha 1]
