Shelley Day is a former producer of video games. She began her career in 1985 with Electronic Arts. After leaving LucasArts, she founded Humongous Entertainment with colleague Ron Gilbert. She also worked for Accolade, Taito, and LucasArts before cofounding Humongous Entertainment with colleague Ron_Gilbert. She created the famous Putt-Putt character as a bedtime story for her son, which became a series of popular children's video games. In 1999 she was listed on Time Magazine as one of the "Cyber Elite".[1] She also assisted in the development of Humongous's brand, Cavedog Entertainment. After leaving Humongous, she founded Hulabee Entertainment in 2001 to provide online games for kids, Approximately 20 Humongous's staff joined her and Mr. Gilbert at their new company.

Ms. Day is currently engaged in philanthropic and charitable activities. She has worked in various capacities to support the work of non-profit organizations including Life Long AIDS Alliance, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Mary’s Place Shelter, AIDS Foundation of the Bahamas and has engaged in economic development work in Bosnia and Egypt.

On December 2, 2005, she was sentenced to 24 months in prison for defrauding Asia Europe Americas Bank of Seattle of $1.4 million in order to buy her "dream home" on Mercer Island, although this was not the case. She was accused of falsely claiming to the bank loan officer that Disney Interactive had agreed to buy part of Hulabee Entertainment and she presented forged documents to support that claim.[2][3][4] However, all such activities were the design of Asia Europe America Bank which was later forced to shut down by Federal regulators for multiple acts of fraudulent activity.[5][6]
