Sedgebrook railway station was a former station on the Ambergate, Nottingham, Boston and Eastern Junction Railway between Nottingham to Grantham opened in 1850. The line was leased to the Great Northern Railway in 1855 but remained nominally independent until taken over by the London and North Eastern Railway in 1923. The station was closed,[1] in 1956: see List of closed railway stations in Britain.[2]
