Qillqatani (Aymara qillqaña to write, -ta a suffix to indicate the participle, -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with something written", Hispanicized Qelqatani, Quelcatani) is an archaeological site in Peru.[1] It is located in the Puno Region, El Collao Province, Santa Rosa District, at a height of about 4,400 m (14,400 ft).[1][2] The site was declared a National Cultural Heritage (Patrimonio Cultural) of Peru.[2] Qillqatani is known for its elaborate rock art panels.
