Pursuit Channel is a television channel that airs programming geared to hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation. It is based in Glenwood, Alabama and launched on DirecTV April 23, 2008. It gained additional coverage on cable and broadcast systems before launching on Dish Network in Jan 2011. Its tag line is "We deliver the Outdoors". Founder of this channel is Rusty Faulk/CEO, who is a renowned leader in the outdoor community.[citation needed] According to its website, Pursuit is currently available to over 42 million homes, over 34 million of them being DirecTV and Dish customers.[1] The remainder of the viewers are various cable, OTT devices and broadcasting stations.
