Phi Fornacis (φ For) is a class A2.5V[3] (white main-sequence) star in the constellation Fornax. Its apparent magnitude is 5.13[2] and it is approximately 152.0 light years away based on parallax.[1] It shines with a luminosity approximately 16 times that of the Sun and has a surface temperature of 8900 K.[6] It is around 1.6 times as massive as the Sun and there is evidence of a circumstellar disk.[7]
