Montbert (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃bɛʁ] ( listen); Gallo: Montebèrt, Breton: Monteverzh) is a commune in the Loire-Atlantique department in western France. In 1954 it ceded part of its territory to the new commune of Geneston.[2]
