Minjee Lee (born 27 May 1996) is an Australian professional golfer from Perth. She became the number one ranked amateur golfer on 26 February 2014[1] after winning the Oates Victorian Open on the ALPG Tour. Her reign ended when she turned professional in September 2014.
Lee won the 2012 U.S. Girls' Junior.[2][3] She won the Australian Women's Amateur in 2013[4] and successfully defended the title in 2014.[5]
Lee was a member of the 2013 Golf Australia National Squad.
Lee turned professional in September 2014 after leading the Australia team to win the Espirito Santo Trophy.[6] She finished as co-medalist at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn her tour card for 2015.[7]
