Marton railway station (formerly Ormesby railway station) serves the suburb of Marton, Middlesbrough; the station lies just within the borough of Redcar and Cleveland, in the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located on the Esk Valley Line approximately 3 miles (5 km) south east of Middlesbrough railway station. It is just off the B1380 (Ladgate Lane), near to Ormesby Hall. It is operated by Northern Rail who provide all of the station's passenger services.

The station is served by up to sixteen trains per day (four on a Sunday during the spring/summer timetable).[1]

Station facilities were upgraded in 2012 as part of the Tees Valley Metro project.[2] The package for the station included a new fully lit waiting shelter, renewed station signage and the installation of CCTV. The long-line Public Address system (PA) has been renewed and upgraded with pre-recorded train announcements.
