Manon of the Spring (French: Manon des sources) is a 1952 French drama film directed by Marcel Pagnol and starring Jacqueline Pagnol, Raymond Pellegrin and Henri Vilbert.[1] [2] It was shot at Marseille Studios and on location around La Treille and Aubagne. The film's sets were designed by the art director Eugène Delfau. It was later adapted by Pagnol into a novel of the same title, which was later adapted as a 1986 film.
