Academics

Students take a wide range of classes including a Spanish, Computer, Library, Art, Music, and P.E.

Students also take a test in seventh grade to see if they qualify to go to Assumption High School for Algebra classes in the morning.

Sports and other organizations

Children at Lourdes can currently participate in a basketball, volleyball, or cheerleading program. Students compete against John F. Kennedy, All Saints and Saint Pauls, all of which are feeder schools from Assumption, and St. Joe's in DeWitt. In 2009 the school began to work on creating a track team with the other feeder schools.

The school also has organizations and clubs such as Ski Club, Yearbook Club, Student Council, Chess Club, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Math Counts, Math Bee, Choir, Band, and Orchestra.

Uniform

Students are required to wear school uniforms daily, except on "Free Dress" days, which occur through the year for parties, prizes, fundraisers, and other reasons.[1]
