Jason Dale McBain (born April 12, 1974) is a former professional ice hockey defenseman. He was born in Ilion, New York and raised in Kimberley, British Columbia.
McBain played for the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League, until being traded to the Portland Winterhawks one season later.
McBain was drafted 81st overall in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the Hartford Whalers and played 9 games for them over two seasons.
He is currently residing in Oregon working as a Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer.[citation needed]
