Hot Wheels: Stunt Track Challenge is a video game published by THQ. It was released on November 10, 2004 and appeared on PlayStation 2, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and Microsoft Windows. It is a stuntman game show that consists of drivers competing in stunt challenges and winning fast races to stay on the show. Sometimes, there are mini games with special tasks, usually involving collecting icons in a limited amount of time. Races take place on one of 12 tracks and players compete to finish first. The game's 24 stunt challenges reward players for performing daring deeds by using the controller. The game also had an online mode. A sequel to this game, entitled Hot Wheels: All Out, was released for Game Boy Advance in 2006.[citation needed]

        Gameplay

Stunt Track Challenge focuses on performing stunts on tracks as the title suggests. However, races are available.

The player starts with 3 cars:

        • 24/Seven
        • Mega-Duty
        • Ballistik

There are 6 episodes in the game, and each of these episodes have stunt challenges, mini-games and races.

When the player win a race, the player unlocks a wheel type. When the player wins a game break the player will unlock different decals. After the end of the episode, depending on the player's score, the player unlocks a car. If the player finishes in second or third, the player unlocks a car. By finishing first, the player will also unlock another car.

When the player finishes all episodes in first, he/she will unlock a gold version of one of the in-game cars.
