HD 45652 is a G8-K0 star located in the constellation Monoceros.[2] It is approximately 118 light years (36 parsecs) from Earth with apparent magnitude 8.13.[1]
In May 2008, the discovery of an extrasolar planet, HD 45652 b, orbiting the star was announced. The planet was detected by the radial velocity method, using observations made from 2005 to 2007.[2]
