Gorenje Blato (pronounced [ɡɔˈɾeːnjɛ ˈblaːtɔ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Škofljica in central Slovenia. It lies on the edge of the marshlands south of the capital Ljubljana, east of Pijava Gorica. The municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]

There is a small chapel-shrine in the settlement, dating to the 17th century. It contains a wooden altar with a statute of Mary.[3]
