Arthur Gordon Dean (born 16 September 1943) was an Australian politician. Born in Mackay, Queensland, he was a solicitor before entering politics. In 1977, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Liberal member for Herbert. He held the seat until his defeat by Labor's Ted Lindsay in 1983.[1]
