Gnathochromis is a small genus of sand sifting cichlid fish endemic to Lake Tanganyika in east Africa.
Species
There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Gnathochromis permaxillaris (L. R. David, 1936)
- Gnathochromis pfefferi (Boulenger, 1898)
