Divili is a south Indian village in Peddapuram Mandal in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh.

"Divili" village is famous for Lord Venkateswara temple

which was constructed 900 years ago. There is a belief that if the person with a wish visits the temple, it'll be fulfilled soon. Sources say that Lord Venkateswara was very Powerful and the temple was constructed before Tirupathi. This is the place where Dhruva started his penance, and went without food and water for six months and finally Lord Vishnu was amazed at the little boy's determination and appeared before him. He blessed the boy.

Dhruva was 7 years old when he started his immense meditation to achieve Lord Vishnu's grace. Lord Vishnu impressed by this boy's meditation came to see Dhruva. Dhruva being a kid and Vishnu being more than 7 ft tall, Dhruva was not able to see Lord Vishnu. For which Lord Vishnu says "look closely I am exactly of your height" and Lord Vishnu was about the same height of the boy. It is known to this day that the idol of Lord Sri Venkateshwara (One of the Avatars of Lord Vishnu) here will be seen at the same height of the devotee worshipping the lord.
