Carlos Manuel Dias Saavedra (born 1 February 1981 in Lisbon) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Grupo Sportivo Loures as a central midfielder.

Football career

During his Portuguese career, spent mainly in the lower leagues, Saavedra represented G.D. Estoril Praia, S.U. Sintrense, F.C. Barreirense, C.D. Trofense, Odivelas F.C. and Grupo Sportivo Loures. In 2008, he signed a two-year contract in with Doxa Katokopias F.C. in Cyprus.

After two seasons Saavedra continued in the country, joining AEK Larnaca F.C. who immediately loaned him to his previous club. In the 2014 summer, after one year in Greece with Glyfada FC, the 33-year-old returned to his homeland.
