Barnaby George "Barns" Courtney is an English singer, songwriter and musician.
Early life and career
Courtney was born in Ipswich, England. He spent most of his childhood in Seattle, but at the age of 15, returned to the United Kingdom.[2] Courtney previous led the British indie band called SleeperCell, but the group did not achieve much success. He then pursued a career as a singer/songwriter and opened for artists such as Carl Barât and Ed Sheeran. In 2015, his song "Fire" was featured in the movie "Burnt" and went on to receive airplay on American rock radio in 2016. Courtney is currently working on his first full-length album.[3]
