Arnold Susi (4 January 1896 in North Caucasus – 29 May 1968 Tallinn) was a lawyer and the Minister of Education in the Estonian Otto Tief's government established on 18 September 1944 during WWII.[1] He befriended Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in Soviet prison. When writing the "Gulag Archipelago" Solzhenitsyn hid in his countryhouse in Estonia. [2] He has also written down his memories from days of WW1 in book "Doom of the Russian Empire" (in Estonian: "Vene impeeriumi hukk"), which he wrote while in Abakan
