Anthony Higgin

Anthony Higgin was Dean of Ripon from 1608 until his death in 1624.[1]

From Lancashire, Higgin was educated at St John's College, Cambridge.[2] He was the incumbent at Kirk Deighton from 1583[3] until his death. Higgin is known to have owned a copy of the book on rhetoric written by Lorenzo Gulielmo Traversagni, Epitome margaritae eloquentiae.[4]
