The 2016 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns football team, often referred to as Louisiana or Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns,[1] represents the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They are led by sixth year head coach Mark Hudspeth and play their home games at Cajun Field in Lafayette, Louisiana. The Ragin' Cajuns are members of the Sun Belt Conference.
