The 1940 Deutsche Lufthansa Ju 90 crash was the crash of a Deutsche Lufthansa Junkers Ju 90A1 aircraft on November 8, 1940, killing all 29 people on board.[1][2]

The aircraft, registered D-AVMF and named Brandenburg, was en route to Budapest, Hungary from Berlin, Germany when ice formed on the tail, causing it to crash near the municipality of Schönteichen. At the time, the accident was the worst one on German soil.[3]
