Yuechi County (Chinese: 岳池县; pinyin: Yuèchí Xiàn) is a county in Sichuan province, China. It is administratively governed by the city of Guang'an, birthplace of the late Deng Xiaoping (? -- 1997.02), the once paramount leader in China and key architect of modern Chinese economy, in eastern Sichuan province.

The place is accessible via a three-hour bus drive from Chengdu (Shiling[disambiguation needed] public bus station) and a one-hour bus drive from Nanchong on the Chengnan expressway. The town, still economically backward, is essentially sustained by its livestock and agricultural activities, as well as agriculture-based manufacturing like bamboo-based carpet and beancurd, etc.; virtually without the presence of any significant industries.

The town is planned and constructed with a main road plying the town center, linking the exit to the Chengnan expressway at one end and other suburban areas at the other.
