Tetsuya Matoyama (Japanese: 的山 哲也, born October 1, 1970) was a professional baseball catcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in Nippon Professional Baseball. He played for the team starting in 1994 appearing in 1 game, to a further 15 in his second season before making it into the regular line-up. He retired at the end of the 2008 season.
