Tayalur is a panchayat village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2][3] It is located in the Mulbagal Taluka of Kolar district in Karnataka.

History

Around 1750, a Sufi Saint by the name of Hazrat Shaik Mohiuddin Shah Khadri Shuttari lived in Tayalur, where his dargah still exists.[citation needed] His direct descendants and blood relation still reside in Tayalur, and also in Bangalore.[citation needed] His dargah is a very sacred and religious place to visit in Karnataka.[citation needed]
