Sony AATH (Bengali: সনি আট) is Sony's Premium Bangla Entertainment that entertains its viewers with a mix of fiction as well as the best of Bengali cinema.[1] It was launched on 28 May 2012.[citation needed] In a short span of time it has achieved a Cable & Satellite penetration of 62.12% and is currently viewed in over 4.91 million homes in West Bengal, India. With fiction shows such as C.I.D. Kolkata Bureau, Adaalat, Aahat, Konta Satti Konta Durghatana, as well as a library of over 1000 contemporary and classic film titles. Sony AATH not only has the most exciting fiction series in Bengali but also the biggest Bengali films library in India.
