Sibu is a federal constituency in Sarawak, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1978.
The federal constituency was created in the 1977 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
History
2008–present: The constituency contains the polling districts of Rassau, Penasu, Bawang Assan, Kunyit, Ma'aw, Selalo, Dassan, Ensurai, Lan, Engkilo, Lower Island, Upper Island, Tanah Mas, Rajang Park, Pelawan, Sungai Merah, Bandong, Bahagia Jaya, Disa, Sungai Antu, Gambir, Camar, Merdeka, Oya Lane, Datu Nyabor, Ilir Nangka, Teku, Seduan, Tanggi, Race Course.
