Shunem

Shunem (Hebrew: <templatestyles src="Script/styles_hebrew.css" />שׁוּנֵם‎; Douay-Rheims: Sunam) is a small village mentioned in the Bible. It was located in the tribe of Issachar, to the north of Jezreel and south of Mount Gilboa Joshua 19,18.

Shunem is listed as a town conquered by the Egyptian pharaohs Thutmose III and Shoshenk I.[1]

Shunem may be identified as the modern village of Sulam.[1]
