Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. There have been eight Prime Ministers of Slovenia, officially President of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: Predsednik Vlade Republike Slovenije), since the country gained parliamentary democracy in 1989, and independence in 1991. Unlike the President of the Republic of Slovenia, who is directly elected, the prime minister is appointed by the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, and must control a majority there in order to govern.
