IMG Worlds of Adventure is an upcoming indoor theme park in the City of Arabia, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is part of the Dubailand entertainment complex. The park will be divided into four zones each based on a different theme, and will contain various leisure attractions including roller coasters, a 5D cinema and retail areas. When expected to open in early 2016, it will be the biggest indoor amusement park in the world.[1]

History
The park is being built by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group and is expected to be the biggest indoor amusement park in the world.[2][3] The park is part of the City of Arabia development project, a part of Dubailand, which was stalled due to the 2008 property crash.[4][5] In April 2014, the park got a Dh1.2 billion ($326 million) loan from the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.[1][3] The park itself is valued over $1 Billon.[6] Developers predict that the park will welcome 10,000 visitors daily, and has the capacity to hold up to 20,000 daily.[5][7] The complex was originally set to open in early 2014, has been since been delayed to late 2014.[6] The IMG Group stated in January 2014 that the foundations for the rides were nearly complete and that the structure of the building is complete.[8]
The park will include 17 themed rides.[5]
Themed Areas
The park will contain four themed areas, called "Epic Zones".[9] The park will also contain a 12-screen cinema.[6]
Cartoon Network
Cartoon Network is one of the planned zones, and is based on cartoon characters on the Cartoon Network. It will contain the world's first 5D Ben 10 cinema and the largest Ben 10 store in the world.[10][11]
Marvel
Marvel will be another of the themed zones based on Marvel characters.[5] It was announced that this zone will feature the 3D media-based attraction, "Avengers: Battle of Ultron." The announcement made in early June, 2015, was made one month after the release of Marvel Studios' anticipated film "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in early May, 2015.[12]
Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure
Lost Valley-Dinosaur Adventure is an original intellectual property created for IMG Worlds of Adventure. This zone will include animatronic dinosaurs and roller coasters.[2]
IMG Boulevard
IMG Boulevard is the fourth planned zone and will welcome and set up guests for the other three zones.[11]
