Franciscus Gijsbrechts (1649, Antwerp – after 1677), was a Flemish Baroque painter.

Biography

According to the RKD he was the son of Cornelis Norbertus Gijsbrechts and Anna Moons.[1] He worked in Copenhagen in 1672 and is possibly the same person as Franciscus Gijsbrecht active in 1674 in Leiden.[1] The last known record of him is that he became master in the Antwerp Guild of St. Luke in 1673.[1] He is known for vanitas and tromp l'oeil paintings like his father's.[1]
