Chris Roe (born 14 January 1975) is an Australian broadcaster and journalist.

Chris comes from Bourke in outback New South Wales.

Career History

With a background as a radio announcer, Chris has spent the last 12 years in television working as a producer and presenter in news and sport, resulting in a total combination of 25 years in Media.

Starting under the tutelage of famed radio producer 'Camel' Chris decided to celebrate his 25-year milestone in broadcasting by organising a huge State of Origin party in Brisbane on 27 May 2015, however only Camel bothered to turn up.

They ended up regaling the state of the industry and long lost art of making cockroach pizzas instead and agreed to do the same in 2030.

After starting in television at Fox Sports, Chris joined Sky News in 2004 as a sports producer and presenter. Chris anchored weekend news since 2006, hosted the Sportsline and Sportsnight programs and regularly filled in on news programs across the week. [1]

Study

Chris completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Charles Sturt University Bathurst and is currently undertaking a Master of Arts (Ancient History) at Macquarie University Sydney.
