The 1895 Primera División season was won by Lomas AC for 3rd consecutive time. The runner up was its related team Lomas Academy.[1] This was the last tournament played by Buenos Aires al Rosario Railways before merging with Belgrano Athletic Club.
The English High School team dissolved so the team did not take part of the tournament although its players joined Lanús Athletic and Lobos, which registered to the Association. Saint Andrew's, the first Argentine champion, returned to the League. Buenos Aires al Rosario Railways left the tournament soon after it had started.[2]
