Summary

3,908 GRT passenger ship Calypso, built at Middlesbrough in 1897–98 by Sir Raylton Dixon & Co as Bruxellesville for Cie. Maritime Belge du Congo. Woermann-Linie bought her in 1901 and renamed her Alexandra Woermann. In 1919 the UK Shipping Controller seized her as First World War reparations and appointed Oceanic SN Co to manage her.
In 1920 Ellerman's Wilson Line bought her and renamed her Calypso. Ellerman's ran her between Hull and the Baltic, and in the summers of 1932–36 she made summer cruises to Denmark and Norway. In 1936 she was scrapped in Bruges, Belgium.
