This statue, located in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parks_of_Milwaukee" class="extiw" title="w:Parks of Milwaukee">Juneau Park</a>, was the gift of shoe manufacturers Charles T. Bradley and William H. Metcalf. Juneau's granddaughter Hattie White unveiled the statue on July 6, 1887. Artist Richard Henry Park created the sculpture.
