A hundred paratroopers were taking part in a joint military exercise in Spain as part of their training to deploy anywhere in the world at short notice. Exercise Iberian Eagle merged 115 soldiers from B Company, The Third Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (3 PARA) with 465 Spanish airborne troops of the 1st Bandera "Roger de Flor" on the bitter plains of Zaragoza and the training grounds around Madrid. |
